From nature to practice to revive the farming sector
The new European project Crop-MATCHING, funded by the Horizon Europe and coordinated by the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH), has been launched to strengthen rural communities and support small farms sustainability. Professor Konstantinos Mattas, the project coordinator, was interviewed by the regional and local media and TV during the kick-off meeting held on Thursday 6 and Friday 7 November 2025. The project ambition is to generate huge impact upon the European small-scale farming garnering benefits for farmers, society, and environment.
